We met because our two friends fell in love.

In the Summer of 2021, we first crossed paths at a dinner party at Jacob and Seth’s (the matchmakers) home in Washington DC.. We met again in October of that same year for their engagement.

Sam was living in Newport at the time, and invited Meagan to visit. 

Two weeks later, a perfect Fall weekend in Newport had begun and so had our love story.

The next year was spent keeping in touch across the country.

Reuniting in person one year later, we decided to make distance work. Sam immediately responded with,

“I love you.”

Ever since, wherever we are, our life together has been filled with love.
